Here’s where we’ll be blowing the roof off (or under the trees) this month: Friday, June 6 – Julia’s Birthday Bash at Attic Brewing https://www.atticbrewing.com/event-details/west-philly-orchestra-free-show Friday, June 7 – Gettysburg Brass Band Festival We’re bringing something new to the otherwise buttoned up and well-drilled Gettysburg festival - some rustic folk music chaos. The first set will be a primer on Eastern European folk brass traditions, from klezmer to Romani music, and the second set is the dance party. Outdoor oasis. Backyard vibes. WPO goes full beast mode. Hello, Of all of the 1,000 or gazillion bands playing at the 10th annual West Philly Porchfest tomorrow, 5/30, West Philadelphia Orchestra will be one of them!
